5 Reasons Donald Trump Reposted The Racist Video of the Obamas

It was Eleanor Roosevelt, the amazing 32nd White First Lady of the USA, who once said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your permission.” And she was so right.

The serene, responsible Barack and Michelle Obama, without doing anything negative, is still showing White supremacist, Donald Trump, how true leaders conduct themselves; that he cannot make them feel inferior, no matter what he does. 

Trump has always felt inferior to the Obamas because of his low self-esteem and obvious envy and greed. And we won't even mention that Nobel Peace Prize he craves which President Obama got. Not having received public acknowledgement or acclaim from them, especially as he secretly seeks their approval, he has turned on them over the past year in a vicious way that only a rabid, obsessed person is capable of doing.

This latest gutter action from the President of the United States, depicting the Obamas as apes (and I won’t dignify it by reposting it here) has come about for many reasons, but five of them stand out.

1. Trump has been enabled by Republicans in Congress with their acknowledgement and their silence, and by the Supreme Court who has given him powers to the point of lawlessness. He can now do no wrong and is simply pleasing himself, regardless of the consequences.
2. Of course, the more he does whats he likes without regard for those consequences, and without any admonition, is the more he feels embolden to do even worse things to show his ‘power’, like the way he treats women and minorities.
3. Many Americans, whether they like to admit it or not, share Trump’s autocratic and racist stance. By enabling him in that way, they can entertain the foolish notion that the country can go back in time to an all-White America where Black people knew their place as slaves and servants, and women kept the house and were subservient to men.
4. The Republicans know that public opinio, is slowly turning against them, and if Trump’s antics can actually them keep their seats, then it doesn’t matter how depraved he gets, so long as they keep him there for the elections.
5. Those pesky Epstein Files again. He is running out of ideas as to how to keep the distraction going, so why not attack one of the most respected families in a racist way that will enrage and avert attention for a while. Hopefully,  people will stop noticing the simple fact that, having been mentioned 38,500 times in those files, he still isn’t being questioned or pilloried at least for his association with an evil paedophile.

What Donald Trump did crossed a line, but so did the people he killed in the Caribbean, the way he has treated both Gaza and Ukraine, the way he treats female reporters, and the way he degrades people. 

• When does it stop? 
• What is he teaching young White males in the country? 
• What does he have to do for decent people in Congress to say “Enough! That’s not how our president should behave.”

Or is he just demonstrating American values today?  Vulgar, indecent and depraved? 

Is that why there is silence from Republican about his increasingly vile actions, and why at least 31% of the country still approve of him?

If that is the case, America is truly languishing in degenerating a social gutter that makes little sense to the rest of the world who have looked to it for real example and leadership.
